St Andrew Church, Paull - Fundraising
Vision Plan |
Our Vision for the Church of St Andrew
The church's beauty can be seen as you enter the village by each road. The church lines the landscape of its natural rural
setting as it sits slightly inland on the banks of the River Humber, on the brow of a hill. At one side of the church there is
a conservation area of salt marsh for wildlife. The church supports the Yorkshire Living Graveyard project and the grounds look
beautiful at various times of the year with seasonal wildflowers and wildlife. The churches history can be traced back to the
Doomsday book.
The Church Parochial Council would like to take our church into the 21st century.
The improvements we would like to
achieve when we have raised the funds are:-
Water
Toilet Facilities
Kitchen
Make the church the key place in the village,
promoting community values. We wish to explore a whole new range of activities which are challenging and inspiring for all ages and groups
especially the youth.
We hope the church and what it can offer can make a real difference in peoples lives, whether it be in joyful times
or sad times, offering a retreat for people when things become unbearable or just need time out. The environment around the church is ideal
and we hope to keep our heritage for generations to come so they may enjoy this historic church and its setting
